- 1 (1 pound) loaf sliced white bread (used Kirkland Multigrain that had been frozen for a while)
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 teaspoons poultry seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 eggs + a little milk
- Italian Sausage diced small (used Bob Evens tube)
- 2 tablespoons sage

- *Baked bread for 30 minutes at 300 degrees, cool, then cut into cubes.
- *Brown Italian Sausage
- *In a large pan,
- #Melt butter or margarine over medium heat.
- #Cook onion and celery until soft.
- #Season with poultry seasoning, sage, salt, and pepper.
- #Add cooked Italian Sausage
- *Turn pan heat off and stir in bread cubes until evenly coated.
- *In a separate bowl mix egg, milk, and chicken broth; add to pan and mix well.
- *Chill, bake in a buttered casserole dish at 350 (or 400?) degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 40 minutes. (bake covered for 25 min?)
